Day zero
So this is it! Tomorrow I am on a plane to Japan to spend a month on a taiko pilgrimage!
So far, I have almost finished packing - and psychologically preparing myself for the hot, humid weather that awaits me as well as trying to brush up on my language skills.
Feeling very nervous and excited.....
I arrive in Tokyo on Saturday morning and then head straight to Nagano city for the night, before arriving at the hirugami resort where I will spend the week in taiko bootcamp!
